What is brainwave entrainment?

Braiwave Entrainment explained.
Many people have asked me what brainwave entainment is and in this blog post I will try to explain this concept as easily as possible.
Your brain cells are called neurons and when they communicate with each other they create an electrical field that can be measured in brainwaves.
There are different levels of brainwaves, dependic on what we are doing and the state we are in at present: beta, alpha, theta (I will explain a bit more about these brainwave patterns in a later blogpost)
Now brainwave entrainment refers to a process by which the brainwave pattern is altered using a special audio technology. The brain has a tendency to try and match any external stimuluses frequency.
This means that if a recording is played with a delta wave pattern and the brainwave pattern of the person listening is beta, then the brainwave pattern will slow down to become a theta brainwave pattern.
Theoratically this means you can alter your mood , mindset and brain fuctioning with brainwave entrainment. Later on we will examine whether altering th brainwave pattern of a person produces any outward visible change at all.
